Set in 500 acres of beautiful, secluded North Cornwall the W Club, leisure and spa facility is an incredible place to re-energise, be pampered or if you’re feeling energetic push yourself.
Having built a new state of the art gym facility Couch Flooring were contracted to supply and install the gym flooring.
THE FLOORING
Making effective use of space the client specified sectioned zones for the gym flooring, making clearly defined workout areas.
To create this 10mm rubber gym matting was supplied and fitted fully bonded on a non-contaminate latex sub-floor. Professionally scribed in for an immaculate finish – however close people get to the floor doing their burpee’s or push-ups it’s always going to look great.
For the dividing walkways Karndean Van Gogh luxury vinyl tiles were used creating the perfect blend of functionality needed for a flooring in this setting and design style. To ensure the two products with differing depths flowed seamlessly throughout the gym, the sub-floor for the walkways was built up. Enabling the rubber flooring and LVT to meet flush.
