On this website www.couchflooring.co.uk we receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. The data this Application collects from you, by itself or through third parties collect can include; First name, Surname, Postal Address, Postcode, Telephone number, Email address and Reviews. Couch Flooring is the Data Controller of all personal information it receives about you.

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

Use of Data

The data that we collect will only be used for the following purposes:

• To assist with the processing of any request you make of us, to review, develop and improve our website and the products and services we offer through analytics.

• To administer your account and to provide you with the services and/or products you have requested from us.

• To communicate with you regarding the services/products you have requested.

• If you place an order with us for products and/or services we may share these details with your fitter so that he/she can then communicate with you.

• When requested by the manufacturer of your flooring we will share the information you provide to them for any warranties that come with the product. The manufacturer will also have a privacy policy detailing how they will use the information we share with them.

Our legal basis for processing your personal data through this website is via consent only in the pursuit of shared interests, for the marketing of products, communication of product information, services, events and promotions. We do not collect any special categories of personal data for the purposes of this notice and web site. 

Couch Flooring’s Principles 

Couch Flooring will not sell or pass on your personal marketing data to any third parties. 

In certain circumstances and according to legislation it may be necessary to disclose data to public authorities. We may also disclose personal data in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights. 

We may also provide aggregate statistics about website traffic, patterns and information within the business and to third parties; but this will not include any information, which identifies you.

We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. 

Retention of Data

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for. Therefore:

• Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Owner and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

• Right to judicial review - in the event that Couch Flooring Limited refuses your request under rights of access, we will provide you with a reason as to why. You have the right to complain as outlined in complaints below. 

All of the above requests will be forwarded on should there be a third party involved (as stated above) in the processing of your personal data.
