Do you provide a fitting/installation service?Yes, we offer a comprehensive fitting and installation service for all types of flooring. All our installers are directly employed by us, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and reliability. We do not subcontract our work, so you can be confident that your flooring will be installed by experienced professionals who are dedicated to quality. We install all the products we sell, including LVT (luxury vinyl tile), engineered wood, carpets, natural flooring (sisal, jute, coir, cork) and vinyl (both contract and residential). Our coverage area is shown on our Areas Covered page. This includes North Cornwall and Devon and surrounding areas. For commercial and larger domestic projects fitting and installation services are available nation wide.

Do you provide measuring and planning services?Yes, we offer a free, no-obligation measuring, planning and estimating service. This helps ensure you receive the correct amount of materials for your project, allows us to assess the condition of your subfloor and identify any necessary floor preparation. Our experienced team will visit your property to view the space, measure accurately and discuss your preferences for the layout and direction of the flooring. This comprehensive assessment enables us to provide an accurate estimate and plan the installation for the best possible results. Can you adjust doors to fit new flooring?Yes, we can cut and adjust internal doors to ensure they fit properly with your new flooring. Please note that door trimming services are available at an additional cost, which varies depending on the work required.

Do you offer furniture or appliance moving services?We can assist with moving furniture and appliances as part of our flooring installation service. However, to ensure safety and efficiency, we ask that all valuable, unbreakable items be removed from the working areas beforehand. If you have large or heavy furniture or appliances that cannot be easily moved, please inform us in advance. Moving such items may incur an additional charge, depending on the time and effort required to work around or move them. For appliances, if disconnection and reconnection are needed, this may also involve an extra charge. Please note that once appliances are moved and reinstalled, we cannot accept liability for any damage or issues that may arise. We recommend arranging for a qualified technician to handle disconnection and reinstallation of sensitive or valuable appliances if you have concerns. Our goal is to provide a smooth installation process, but safety and liability are important considerations, so clear communication before the work begins is essential.

Do you offer floor preparation services?Yes, we provide a full range of floor preparation services. It is especially important for hard flooring types, such as LVT, engineered wood and vinyl, as well as for carpets. During your survey, our team will advise on the necessary preparation work to ensure the subfloor is suitable for your chosen flooring. Correct preparation helps meet all the manufacturer warranty conditions and guarantees a professional, long-lasting finish. Please ask about floor preparation when booking your appointment and we will tailor the service to meet your specific needs.

Do you removed existing carpets and floor coverings?Yes, we can remove and dispose of existing floor coverings. This service is available at an additional charge. When booking your appointment or during the measuring process, please let us know if you require this service so we can include it in the estimate.

Can I buy materials directly from you for my own installation?Yes, we are more than happy to supply flooring materials for customers who wish to install it themselves. However, please be aware that in the majority of cases, installing the flooring yourself may void the manufacturer's warranty.

Do you provide free samples or home visits to take samples?Yes, we offer a free sample service. Customers are welcome to visit our showroom to browse a selection of products and borrow samples to take home. This allows you to see how the flooring looks in your own environment under natural lighting conditions. You can then return the samples once you've made your decision. If you're unable to visit a showroom, we can also bring samples with us during a site visit or measurement appointment. To ensure we bring the most suitable samples, please provide us with some information about your preferences and the type of flooring you're interested in before the visit.

From the point of order to installation, you can usually expect a timeframe of approximately 2 to 3 weeks. However, during busy periods or if the product needs to be specially ordered, it may take longer. Conversely, some products may arrive sooner. Do I need to be home during installation?No, you do not need to be home during the installation. If you're not available you can arrange to meet us to give us access, or leave a key in a secure key box or bring it into our showroom if preferred. We'll ensure everything is completed professionally and to your satisfaction, even if you're not there.

Do you offer delivery services for flooring materials?If we are fitting your flooring, delivery of the materials is included as part of our service. If you are only purchasing products for self-installation, delivery can be arranged separately. This would need to be organised prior to placing your order and may incur an additional charge. Delivery is available within a certain area, so please contact us to confirm availability and costs.

How do I pay for my flooring and installation?Once you accept the estimate, we will send you a 50% invoice. This payment allows us to order your flooring and secure your booking. After the installation is complete, we will send a final invoice for the remaining balance. Payment can be made via bank transfer, with bank details provided with the invoice. For your convenience, we also accept card payments and cheque.

Can I return a product?Yes, you can return certain products, but there are specific conditions and cost involved. Hard Flooring: Returns are only accepted for complete, unopened boxes. There will also be a restocking fee set by the manufacturer. We have no control over the cost or the restocking fee. Carpets: As soon as carpets are cut to size they are considered bespoke, they are therefore not returnable once ordered. We recommend discussing your needs with our team before placing your order to ensure you select the right product and understand our return policies.
